What to expect

One 30-minute session, designed around you.

No one starts with a packed group class. We always begin in a small-group setting so your instructor can learn your body before we ask anything of it.

  1. 1

    Arrive 15 minutes early

We'll show you around the studio, sign a quick liability waiver, and get you fitted with grip socks (available at the front desk if you don't have them).

  2. 2

    Meet your instructor

Your instructor asks about goals, old injuries, and anything that's bothering you. Then they walk you through every piece of equipment you'll use.

  3. 3

    Move with intention

30 minutes of breath-led Pilates on the reformer, scaled to your body. You'll leave taller, calmer, and a little surprised by what your body can do.

Before you come in

Four small things to know.

What to wear
Breathable, form-fitting clothes so your instructor can see your alignment. Long hair tied back. Grip socks are required — bring any non-skid brand or buy a pair at the studio.
What to bring
A reusable water bottle (we have Flowater filtered dispensers) and a sweat towel if you like. Everything else — mats, reformers, props — is provided.
When to arrive
Arrive 15 minutes before class to sign in, take a quick tour, and complete your liability waiver. We'll get you set up so you can settle in.
What to share
Tell your instructor about any old injuries, sensitive spots, or conditions. Honesty unlocks the right modifications — if a movement is painful, we change it.

Real reviews from Pleasanton members — knee rehab, back recovery, twin pregnancies, and the people who just want to feel taller after a Tuesday.

  • “I started Pilates to help rehabilitate my knee after a soccer injury. When I started, I couldn't even bend my left knee or do lunges and squats. Now, I have much more mobility and strength than when I first started.”

    — Google review · 5★

  • “I joined Reformer Pilates because I wanted to safely exercise after breaking my back in 2019. All of the instructors are patient with me, and helpful in every class. I don't feel rushed or pressured to go beyond what I physically can do — while still getting the most of my effort.”

  • “Alina is a master in Pilates. Her teachings are mind/body focused all while strengthening the core. I highly suggest her for experienced and beginners interested in Pilates.”

  • “One of my favorite things is the small group size. It creates this almost private-session feeling. You're seen, you're heard, and you get real attention — which is so rare and so valuable.”

  • “Pilates took 30 years off me. I am as flexible as I was in my 20s, worked muscles I didn't know existed, and I reduced 2 sizes since I started. Alina is the most friendly coach I ever met who deeply cares for all her clients.”

Common questions

Answered before you ask.

  • We're at 3037 Hopyard Rd, Ste A, Pleasanton, CA 94588 — serving the Tri-Valley and East Bay including Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore, and Danville.
  • Your intro class is on us. It's a dedicated 30-minute small-group session with one of our certified instructors — designed for new students so you can experience the studio, learn the reformer, and decide if Pilates is right for you before you commit to a longer plan. New students always start with the intro class, not a regular group class.
  • Every regular class — private or small-group — is 55 minutes, enough time for a full-body session including warm-up and cool-down. Your first intro class is a shorter 30-minute session.
  • Group classes are kept small. Your instructor sees every alignment, makes hands-on adjustments, and remembers what you worked on last week — most reviewers describe the experience as 'almost private.'
  • Wear breathable, form-fitting clothing so the instructor can see your alignment. Long hair should be tied back. Grip socks are required and we sell any standard non-skid brand at the studio.
  • Just a reusable water bottle (we have Flowater filtered dispensers) and a sweat towel if you like. Everything else — mats, reformers, props — is provided.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early on your first visit to sign in, take a quick tour, and complete your liability waiver.
  • Almost always, yes. Tell your instructor before class about any old injuries, sensitive spots, or medical conditions. Reviewers have come to us recovering from knee surgery, ACL repair, a broken back, and twin pregnancies — we modify exercises so movement stays safe and supportive.
  • Yes. We recommend everyone start with at least one private session so we can assess your posture, learn your goals, and tailor every exercise to you before you transition into small group classes.
  • Yes — see the current cancellation policy in your member portal when you book.
